Bayswater 125th Anniversary and Fete
The key functions of the committee are:
- To work with and coordinate the class reps in the organisation of class stalls
- Advertising (internally and externally)
- Coordination of donations from local businesses (this may be done in conjunction with specific class reps)
- Organisation of external stall holders
- General event organisation and management (including organising the food permit from the City of Bayswater, signage, maps, the sound system and any entertainment).
The P&C has well established processes, forms and handover notes for the organisation of a fete which will be available to the fete committee, and the P&C will provide you with support and guidance. Many current class reps are also experienced in organising a class stall and some have commenced discussions with their class parents about what stall their class may have at this year’s fete.
The 2017 fete organising committee is available to talk with you about any questions you may have regarding the organisation of a fete. The 2017 committee members were:

This is an extremely rewarding opportunity to work with P&C class reps to deliver an event that draws visitors from across Bayswater. This year’s fete will be even more meaningful to the community given the school’s 125th anniversary. The fete is also a significant fundraiser for the P&C and importantly, it is an event greatly enjoyed by the school’s students, families and the Bayswater community.
