Dear Parents and Carers
It is with great pleasure that I welcome you to Bayswater Primary School’s website.
I am extremely proud to be the Principal of a school that has such a long history of providing quality public education and which is strongly supported by the local community. We have a rich multicultural history and celebrate the diversity in our community. We maintain a focus on fostering a family friendly atmosphere where parent engagement is valued. We work hard to develop and sustain productive partnerships with our parents/carers, local schools and the wider community.
Dedicated, professional teachers and friendly, responsive students who are supported by committed parents and families have built an inviting and safe learning environment at Bayswater Primary School. We offer a comprehensive curriculum program with a strong commitment to the teaching and learning of Literacy and Numeracy. These are taught along with specialist programs such as Music, Health and Physical Education, Visual Art and Italian language.
Students develop intrinsic self-esteem and self-worth through social development and academic achievement. At Bayswater Primary School, every child matters every day and all children can be high achievers. All decisions made by the school and staff are in the interest of improving student outcomes.
